Hello VALL!
I hope everyone has enjoyed the summer time. I have some news and a few announcements to share.
VALL at AALL 2015
At the AALL Annual Meeting in Philadelphia this July VALL members gathered for a wonderful lunch at McCormick and Schmick’s. about 20 members gathered to take a break from the heat and some fellowship with VALL colleagues. VALL members also gathered at Philadelphia’s Reading Terminal Market!
VALL also had a table in the exhibit hall in the Philadelphia Convention center where we had a chance to talk about the best of VALL with librarians everywhere.
Also at AALL, our Vice President/President Elect Patty Petroccione attended Chapter Leadership Training Session and I attended the Chapter Presidents Annual Business Meeting. Both were successful and very informative sessions.
VLA-VALL Joint Meeting
Registration for our joint meeting with VLA is open! Between now and August 25th you may take advantage of the special “110thVLA Anniversary Pricing”. It is $110 for the full conference or $80 for a single day. Three of four VALL programs and our business meeting will be on a single day of the conference.
