·         Jobline greatly contributes to the VLA bottom line
·         900 members of VLA
·         VLA/VALL meeting
o   477 registrations so far
o   28 people have signed up for the tour of the Va Supreme Court and library
o   72 of 75 booths have sold
o   New Member Forum will offer a pub crawl
·         2016 conference will be at the Homestead and 2017 conference will be in Norfolk
·         ALA is interested in offering VLA’s Presentation Academy to their larger membership
·         Lisa Varga, VLA’s Executive Director,  attended ALA Leadership Institute
·         VLA is considering establishing a writing academy similar to their presentation academy.
·         VLA Executive Board will write a letter to President Obama asking him to appoint a librarian as Librarian of Congress.
·         In October the Professional Associates Forum will ask for proposals for the 2016 conference
